At the end of last year I participated in a competition for another 3 minute short filmed all on a smartphone. We had a great cast/crew and a smooth filming date and I can't wait to share it with you at the end of the month!

Oh, I am so happy you asked! That's the name of my new short I'm working on. You can keep up with progress here or on the IMDB page. The Trouble With Sheep follows Peter and his mom in the Scottish highlands as they tend the flock, and tend their hearts. It's a mockumentary full of rural life and urban dreams. The script and trailer are already completed (but I'm keeping them a secret for now). I'll be putting together a crew soon and sending out casting calls. Can't wait!

After hours of chugging away on Premiere and scoring the film, I have a final cut of Happy Birthday Carol that I'll be sending out to film festivals for the 2021 season! I am super excited.

I am so thrilled to have had the opportunity to make this short film for the Actor's Lab this year! We had a few restraints: Film on a smartphone, include "Lucky 7," and keep it under three minutes. It was tough but we all showed up for it and made some cool work. This shorter version is a work in progress and I am so excited to release the final version this year at film festivals!

Who is Sandra? Well that was definitely a working title... Sandra Coping has morphed into Happy Birthday Carol. It's a quarantine story about 7 roommates and their coping skills during these trying times. A dark comedy? An uplifting tragedy? It will be premiering later this January at The Actor's Lab's LabFest 2021 Film Festival. There is a 3 minute time limit on that festival which makes it super challenging! It will be a working version of the film. The final version of the film will be premiering later this year at various film festivals.
